You can use the FusionSolar app and the LED status of the LUNA2000 energy storage system (ESS) to determine whether the LUNA2000 communication cable is connected correctly.

  • The nominal capacity of a single battery extension module is 5 kWh. You can check the total capacity of the battery displayed in the app to determine whether the battery modules are connected correctly.

  • If the RS485+ and RS485- cables are connected correctly, the LED indicator on the LUNA2000 is constantly green.

  • If the CAN communication cable between cascaded ESSs or the CAN communication cable of a battery expansion module is connected incorrectly, the app will report an alarm.

  • If the LED on the LUNA2000 does not light up after the AC and DC sides of the inverter are turned on, the Enable+, Enable- cable is connected incorrectly.
