Meeting 4/19:
- SolarEdge offer extended equipment warranty for inverters (up to 25 yrs), optimizers - there is a pricelist for that
- We have the extended equipment warranty included under SKUs in Odoo already - they can be purchased directly from SE or from Krannich or other distributor
- Preferably, we should decided for whatever is cheaper for us to buy and then sell to the customer
- There is T&C for the warranty which we should have understanding of
- We need to know the process of the registration and eligibility for the warranty - check on this
- Two parts of the package offered to the customer - one is warranty and second is the service
Service part:
- diagnostics site visit - fee: minimum 100 EUR, closer to 250 EUR
- engineer needs to create the case for the EMS with SE - 150 EUR
- replacement site visit - fee which included
- technician on site 250 EUR
- remote assistance of an engineer 150 EUR
Description: They pay for one inverter replacement when getting the package. Extra replacements are billed for with the same rate. Alternative is the customer being billed by an hour for the time of a technician visiting the site and working on the replacement in case they do not decided for our package.
What are we going to need to register the customer in the extended warranty? What info?
