I want to change the way I apply VAT on this sales order for a line item already on the sales order
Add same item, set the price + tax (before you click off the new line item or it will be locked). If you click off by accident, just don't save your changes, "discard" then you can repeat the step.
Note: if you are creating a final invoice (if you created already), make sure you cancel final invoice> check the payments listed on the sales order (as they will show the "planned payment". Adjust as it should be before you create the final invoice, otherwise you're final invoice total won't match up, since it carriers these payment from the sales order to the final (regular invoice).
